The competition behind AbdelSaid is intensifying, with Australian rider Edwina Tops-Alexander closely following in second place with 168.67 points. Austrian rider Max Kühner is third with 159 points, while Christian Ahlmann and Scott Brash complete the top five following another decisive round of competition in London.

German rider Christian Kukuk won the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix held at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, which featured a challenging 1.60-metre course contested by the world’s elite riders. The competition offered a total prize purse of €1 million, with Kukuk taking home €330,000.

The final moments produced a sporting epic between Kukuk and his horse Checker 47. The London champions stopped the clock at 42.14 seconds, denying the British crowd a home victory.
It had appeared that Scott Brash, riding Hello Folie, had done enough to secure victory. Brash finished with a prize of €200,000. British rider Harry Charles also delivered an exceptional performance for the home contingent, guiding Balipatrick Tiberius to a double clear round in 43.29 seconds to finish third and collect €150,000.
The victory was particularly significant for Kukuk, as it secured him a place in the Super Grand Prix at the Longines Global Champions Tour Playoffs Final in Riyadh.
