UAE Equestrian Federation Show Jumping Committee Reviews Updates to International Rules

The Show Jumping Committee of the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation met with representatives of equestrian clubs and riders to review preparations for the new season and discuss the latest technical and regulatory developments.
The meeting was chaired yesterday at Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club by Sultan Al Yahyai, Board Member of the federation and Chairman of the Show Jumping Committee. Discussions covered updates to the rules and regulations approved by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), as well as mechanisms for their implementation to ensure clarity of requirements, enhance the efficiency of competitions and raise their technical standards.
Al Yahyai said the meeting reflects the federation’s commitment to strengthening direct communication with clubs and riders and listening to their feedback, stressing that the next phase requires coordinated efforts to ensure the best possible readiness for the new season.

He also reaffirmed the federation’s commitment to identifying challenges, facilitating procedures and addressing obstacles to ensure a strong start to the new season. He said the primary objective is to provide a suitable environment for developing and qualifying riders, enabling them to compete effectively in local and international championships.

The “Mdmar” website which was Founded by Khaled Makhlouf in 2007 for horse and equestrian races is keen to cover and follow all competitions related to horses, from show jumping, Horseracing, speed and endurance races, and purebred Arabian horse beauty shows, which belong to the Arab Gulf countries at home and abroad in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
