The Emirates Racing Authority announces the opening of media accreditation for the 2026–2027 season

The Emirates Racing Authority (ERA), the governing body of horseracing in the United Arab Emirates, is pleased to announce that media accreditation is now open for the 2026–27 Emirates Racing Season.
The new season begins at Abu Dhabi Turf Club on Thursday, 22 October 2026 and will showcase horseracing across the UAE’s five racecourses: Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Jebel Ali, Sharjah and Meydan Racecourse.
Journalists, photographers, broadcasters and digital media professionals are warmly invited to apply. Approved accreditation will provide access to race meetings across the ERA season, together with relevant press facilities, media briefings and official communications.

Members of the media are encouraged to apply as early as possible to avoid delays. Media organisations must submit a separate application for each individual requiring accreditation. Applications will only be considered from bona fide members of the media, and applicants may be asked to provide valid press credentials and examples of recent sports or equestrian coverage.
Please note that the 2026–27 Emirates Racing Season media badge does not permit entry to the Dubai World Cup meeting at Meydan Racecourse on Saturday, 27 March 2027. A separate accreditation process for the Dubai World Cup will open at a later date, and all media wishing to attend will need to submit a new application.
