Success Continues in Romania Endurance Race as Part of Emirates International Village Series

The endurance competition held as part of the EEF Balkan Championship – EIEV Global Endurance Series concluded at the Shagya Sports Club in Buftea, Romania, following a competitive event attended by members of the Emirates International Endurance Village family, including Mohammed bin Ali Al Hadhrami and Lara Sawaya.
The event featured several endurance competitions, with the podium places confirmed across the different categories.
In the 103km Young Riders and Juniors category, Bulgaria’s Radost Bakalova claimed first place, while Greece’s Angeliki Mermingkidi finished second and Bulgaria’s Deyan Kutelov secured third.
In the 121km competition, Croatia’s Stefano Osip took the top spot, followed by compatriot Erin Špada in second place, while Greece’s Aliki Konstantinidou completed the podium in third.
The event also featured the main 160km endurance race, contested over five stages. The opening stage covered 39km, followed by a 33km second stage and another 39km section in the third stage. The fourth stage was held over 28km, before competitors tackled the final 21km stage.
The event was organised through cooperation between the Emirates International Endurance Village, EIEV PULSE and the Romanian Equestrian Federation, under the supervision of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI).
The Romanian leg marked another international stop for the EIEV Global Endurance Series, underlining its continued role in supporting and promoting endurance riding internationally while providing riders and horses with opportunities to compete at a high level under recognised international
