Strong Opening Day for Global Champions Arabians Tour in Las Vegas

The 2026 Global Champions Arabians Tour Americas Final got off to an exciting start in Las Vegas, with elite Purebred Arabian horses gathering at Resorts World Las Vegas for the concluding stage of the Americas season from October 2–4. Las Vegas follows the earlier rounds in Scottsdale and Miami Beach, with competitors battling for season honours and a share of more than $2.7 million in prize money across the GCAT Americas circuit. 

Day One opened with the Western Pleasure Championship before attention turned to the Arabian halter classes. The programme featured Yearling Fillies A and B, Yearling Colts A and B, followed by the Junior Fillies A and B qualifying classes.

Gift of Love ENB produced one of the standout performances of the opening day, topping Yearling Fillies A with 91.70 points, while Jawharat Nudrah led Yearling Fillies B with a score of 91.10 points. 

In the yearling colt competition, Bairaq E’Thanya headed Section A with 91.00 points, while Aaric K topped the other yearling colt section as the young horses delivered an impressive display in the Las Vegas arena.

Competition continues across the three-day finale before Sunday’s championship classes, when the leading Yearling Fillies, Yearling Colts, Junior Fillies, Junior Colts, Senior Mares and Senior Stallions will return to compete for the major Las Vegas titles and the season-ending honours.
