“Old Is Gold” and “Rulers Pride” headline Wathnan Racing’s campaign at York Racecourse

Today, racing fans and horse-racing enthusiasts will be treated to one of the week’s most prominent meetings, hosted by York Racecourse in England. Wathnan Racing will be represented in two of the seven races on the card during the York Festival.

Old Is Gold

The Wathnan Racing-owned Old Is Gold (Mehmas / Lyons Lane) will contest the Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Handicap, a Heritage Handicap for horses aged four years and older.

Old Is Gold will be ridden by jockey Saffie Osborne and trained by Andrew Balding. The race is scheduled for 4:45 PM UK time (6:45 PM Doha time).

Wathnan Racing will also be represented by the two-year-old Roller’s Pride (Mehmas / Superiority) in the Sky Bet Nursery, a Class 2 race.

Roller’s Pride will be ridden by jockey James Doyle and trained by Karl Burke. The race is scheduled for 5:20 PM UK time (7:20 PM Doha time).

Roller’s Pride will face:
