Khalifa Mubarak Crowned Champion as Emirates International Endurance Village Global Series Concludes in Šamorín

The Emirates International Endurance Village Global Series brought the curtain down on its sixth round in Šamorín, Slovakia, following three days of international competition featuring eight races across different distances and classifications, held under FEI supervision and in partnership between the Emirates International Endurance Village, EIEV PULSE and the Slovak Equestrian Federation.
Bahrain’s Khalifa Mubarak Salem Sabt, riding You My Love, was crowned champion of the feature CEI3 160km* race after a strong performance across the five stages of the competition.
The winner completed the distance in 8 hours, 51 minutes and 13 seconds, recording an average speed of 18.07 km/h.

The 160km feature race was contested over five loops of 39km, 33km, 39km, 28km and 21km.
Italy’s Lucia Francenici, aboard Lupinetta, finished runner-up with an average speed of 17.73 km/h, with the combination also receiving the Yamamah Best Recovery Award. Italy’s Anastasia Savini, riding Andromeda del Ma, completed the race in sixth place.

The Šamorín programme also produced strong competition across the supporting races.
Giorgia Paganini, riding Giva du Barthas, claimed victory in the CEIYJ2 120km* Young Riders and Juniors race, while Can Kuruya, aboard Kohilan XY 6, won the CEI3 140km* contest.
Tereza Hruba, riding Lucky, secured victory in one of the 120km races, while Gabriela von Felten, aboard Aspahan du Jardin, won another contest over the same distance.

In the CEIYJ1 100km* Young Riders and Juniors race, Helena Pokopiec, riding J Speed Font Noire, took the title.
The final day also saw Italy’s Alessandro Generali take victory in the CEI1 100km* race aboard Gibellia Dialouz.
Italy completed a clean sweep of the podium, with Daniele Serioli and Kajid finishing second, ahead of Patrizia Cianferoni and Rondo dell’Orsetta in third place.
Šamorín also hosted a 120km team competition, with Mario Hoffmann, owner of the x-bionic sphere and a member of the winning team, praising the organisation and the overall conditions of the event.
He noted that the completion rate exceeded 70 percent, highlighting the quality of the competition and the suitability of the course and race conditions.

The prize-giving ceremony was attended by Jassim Saif Al Shamsi, Chargé d’Affaires at the UAE embassies in Austria and Slovakia, Dr. Abdullah Ahmed Al Sheikh, Board Member of the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation and Chairman of the Endurance Committee, Mohammed Ali Al Hadrami, Events Director at the Village, and Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of Marketing and Sponsorship at the Emirates International Endurance Village and EIEV PULSE, alongside officials and event partners.
With another successful international round completed in Šamorín, the Emirates International Endurance Village Global Series continues to strengthen its global presence following earlier rounds in France, Argentina, South Africa, Chile and Romania.
The series is now set to continue with its seventh round in Punta del Este, Uruguay, on November 7, 2026, extending the international journey of the Emirates International Endurance Village Global Series.
