Faleh Al Ajmi Wins Show Jumping Gold for Qatar at Japan Asian Games

Qatari rider Faleh Suwaid Al Ajmi won the gold medal in Individual Competition A in show jumping on Sunday at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, securing a continental title for Qatar on the final day of the Games.

Al Ajmi claimed first place aboard Wathnan Qapella in a competition featuring obstacles ranging from 1.40 to 1.50 metres. UAE rider Abdullah Al Muhairi finished second to take silver, while Saudi rider Khaled Abdulrahman Al Mobti won the bronze medal.

Al Ajmi represents the Wathnan Show Jumping Team. His victory concluded Qatar’s participation in the individual show-jumping competitions at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games with a gold-medal achievement, while Wathnan Qapella also made a notable appearance on the Asian podium.
