“Emirates Global Endurance” Races Expand the Sport’s Reach and Strengthen International Partnerships

The United Arab Emirates continues to strengthen its global presence in equestrian sport by supporting and organizing international endurance races. This enhances the role of sport as a bridge connecting peoples, promotes the exchange of expertise and cultures, and strengthens international cooperation.

His Excellency Mohammed Al Neyadi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Chile, said that Chile’s hosting of the fourth round of the “Emirates Global Endurance Village” series, held on August 28 and 29, embodies the distinctive partnership between the UAE and the countries of South America. It also reflects the UAE’s commitment to opening new horizons for the development of endurance racing and expanding its global reach.

Al Neyadi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the UAE’s wise leadership, commending the significant and continuous support provided by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Office, for the international endurance racing circuit across various countries around the world.

He said this support has helped establish endurance racing as a leading global platform and a prestigious destination attracting riders and participants from around the world, reflecting the growing international standing of endurance sport.

He explained that organizing the round in Chile underscores the UAE’s pivotal role in supporting the global growth of endurance sport in accordance with the highest recognized organizational standards and in a manner that ensures the safety of horses and riders.

He stressed that the health and welfare of horses remain a top priority at every stage of the race, in line with international regulations and standards.
