“Deep Havana” Wins the Handicap Race at England’s Thirsk Racecourse

The horse Deep Havana (Havana Grey / Strictly Silca), racing under the Wathnan Racing colors, won the Evegit Building Handicap, held at the English Thirsk Racecourse today, Friday, August 28, 2026.

The five-year-old Deep Havana, representing Wathnan Racing, was ridden to victory by jockey Faleh Bughnaim and trained by Hamad Al-Jehani.

The runner-up was Yes I Am Mil, ridden by jockey D. Tudhope and trained by O’Meara, while Woodstock, ridden by jockey O. Jorg and trained by R. Carr, finished third.

Wathnan Racing’s Deep Havana recorded a time of 1:10.36 over the 1,200-meter distance.
