Creative Queen and Star Mirage Set for Wathnan Racing Challenges at Haydock and Kempton

Wathnan Racing fillies Creative Queen and Star Mirage are scheduled to compete at Haydock and Kempton on Friday, September 4, 2026, representing trainers William Haggas and Hamad Al Jehani respectively.

Three-year-old Creative Queen will contest the Aesterius At Bearstone Stud Handicap over five furlongs at Haydock, with Cieren Fallon riding for Haggas. The race is scheduled for 3:47pm British Summer Time, equivalent to 5:47pm in Egypt and Qatar.

The filly bids to return to winning ways after securing her maiden victory at Yarmouth in May. She finished a close second at the same course on August 14, narrowly missing out on another success.

At Kempton, fellow three-year-old Star Mirage will line up in the Irish EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes over one mile on the all-weather surface. Faleh Bughenaim takes the ride for trainer Hamad Al Jehani, with the race scheduled for 6:24pm BST, or 8:24pm in Egypt and Qatar.

Star Mirage returns to novice company after finishing seventh, beaten only two lengths, in a seven-furlong handicap at Kempton on August 26. Previously placed at both Kempton and Meydan, she will seek her first victory as she steps back up to a mile.
