Al Shaqab Horses “Gold Beauty” winning 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze in Purebred Arabian Horse Show in Morocco

 

 

Horses of Al Shaqab (Member of Qatar Foundation) won four medals, including two gold medals by Hagras Al Shaqab in the Yearling Colts Class and Hadba Al Shaqab in the Yearling Fillies Class, a silver medal by Mashkora Al Shaqab and a bronze medal by Menwah Al Shaqab in the Two & Three-Year-Old Fillies Class, in the Purebred Arabian Horse Show concluded in El Jadida, Morocco on Thursday, 19 October. The Show was held as part of the events of the 10th edition of the Salon du Cheval d’El Jadida, Morocco, with a large-scale participation of elite purebred Arabian horses from Arab countries and Europe. Al Shaqab horses continued their strong presence in all the top international shows, which they participate in.

Hagras Al Shaqab and Hadba Al Shaqab

The first achievement was by Hagras Al Shaqab when he landed the trophy and the gold medal of the Yearling Colts Class amid tough competition with nine colts. He announced himself firmly by winning the gold medal. Lazeez Al Shahania, from France, came second and won the silver medal while Kanz Gam, from Morocco, came third and won the bronze medal.

The second gold medal for Qatari horses was for Hadba Al Shaqab when she snatched the trophy and the gold medal of the Yearling Fillies Class after having competed with six other fillies. She was able to end the competition and declare herself winner. Soultana de Dream, from Morocco, came second while Jinane Bouznika was third. Hadba Al Shaqab gave a brilliant performance both in the qualifiers and the finals and was the centre of admiration with her pure Arabian beauty.

Silver and Bronze

In the Two & Three-Year-Old Fillies Class, Mashkora Al Shaqab was the runner up and won the silver medal and Menwah Al Shaqab came third and won the bronze medal. The gold medal went to Poesie Ti, from France. Six fillies competed in this class, which came very strong and thrilling.

Sheikh Hamad bin Ali: Al Shaqab’s achievements do not stop

HE Sheikh Hamad bin Ali Al Thani, Al Shaqab Breeding and Show Manager, expressed his happiness with winning four medals at the conclusion of the Purebred Arabian Horse Show concluded in El Jadida, Morocco, especially with the tough competitions of the event, particularly from the horses of Morocco, which competed strongly in all classes.

“The achievements of Al Shaqab do not stop”, he said, “We always work towards having Qatari horses on top, which is demonstrated by the brilliant results achieved in all international shows.

This is an achievement to be added to the continued achievements of Al Shaqab in all the horse shows which we participate in. We look forward to continuing such achievements in all shows in future”,  HE Sheikh Hamad bin Ali Al Thani concluded.
