Bassem Hassan Mohammed Wins Show Jumping Bronze at Japan Asian Games

Qatari rider Bassem Hassan Mohammed won the bronze medal in Individual Competition B in show jumping on Sunday at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, adding another medal to Qatar’s tally on the final day of the Games.




Bassem Hassan Mohammed secured third place aboard Wathnan Chaccball in a competition featuring obstacles up to 1.55 metres high.

The gold medal went to Saudi rider Ramzy Al Duhami, who competed aboard Untouchable 32, while his compatriot Abdulrahman Al Rajhi claimed the silver medal.


Bassem Hassan Mohammed represents the Wathnan Show Jumping Team. His podium finish confirmed Qatar’s presence among the medalists in the individual show-jumping competitions at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, while Wathnan Chaccball also made a notable appearance on the podium by securing bronze in Individual Competition B.
