Wathnan Racing is set for a busy international day with six runners across Britain and the United States, featuring three representatives at Doncaster’s St Leger Festival and three juvenile fillies in America.
Final Objective Takes on Group 2 Company
Final Objective headlines the team at Doncaster in the Carlsberg Danish Pilsner Flying Childers Stakes (G2) over five furlongs.
Trained by Hamad Al Jehani and ridden by James Doyle, the two-year-old faces 11 rivals in the £130,000 contest and arrives with strong form, having already recorded a victory and finished runner-up on his latest start.
Silver Lake Chases a Fourth Straight Victory
Silver Lake represents Wathnan Racing in the British Stallion Studs EBF Premier Fillies’ Handicap at Doncaster.
The William Haggas-trained three-year-old has won her last three races, most recently scoring at York on August 21, and enters today’s contest as one of the leading contenders.

Launch Sequence Steps into Handicap Company
Wathnan’s third Doncaster runner is Launch Sequence, who contests the Tanbry Construction Nursery over six furlongs.
The Karl Burke-trained colt, again partnered by James Doyle, makes his handicap debut and wears cheekpieces for the first time.
Launch Sequence has raced three times, finishing third on two occasions before taking sixth at York on his latest appearance.
Three Juvenile Fillies in the United States
Wathnan Racing is also represented by three two-year-old fillies trained by Brad Cox in the United States.
Light Halo, a daughter of City Of Light, contests Race 4 at Churchill Downs, a six-furlong dirt Maiden Special Weight worth $120,000, with Florent Geroux in the saddle.
At Horseshoe Indianapolis, Promised Vow, by Constitution, lines up in Race 3, a one-mile turf Maiden Special Weight. She breaks from gate five under Fernando De La Cruz.
The final Wathnan runner of the day is Guiding Star at Churchill Downs. The daughter of Life Is Good contests Race 7, another $120,000 six-furlong Maiden Special Weight on dirt, with Flavien Prat booked to ride.
With six runners across two continents, Wathnan Racing’s headline hopes rest with Final Objective in Group 2 company and the progressive Silver Lake, who bids to extend her winning streak to four.
