Riders and horsepower are out in full force for the 10th stage of the 2022 Longines Global Champions Tour championship race guaranteeing it will be one to remember.

At the sharp end of the grid two-time LGCT Champion, Edwina Tops-Alexander will be battling it out against the likes of last year’s LGCT Grand Prix of Monaco winner Darragh Kenny and her Valkenswaard United teammate Gilles Thomas who is 4th on the overall LGCT ranking going into Monaco.

Malin Baryard-Johnsson has been on phenomenal form recently already taking a LGCT Grand Prix win in St Tropez. However, she will need to beat some of the biggest names in the sport to take another Grand Prix win this year including, Shane Breen and Maikel van der Vleuten who are both previous LGCT Monaco Grand Prix winners so know how to navigate the tight arena.

Amongst the stars, big names, rising talent and legends of the sport will be battling for the coveted LGCT Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco win, one of the most prestigious accolades in show jumping including Mike Kawai, Michael Pender, Lily Attwood, Jodie Hall McAteer, Ioli Mytilineou and Jeanne Sadran.


Looking to take the win under the evening lights will be the likes of Simon Delestre, Olivier Philippaerts, Denis Lynch, Pieter Devos, Constant van Paesschen, Philipp Weishaupt, Edward Levy, Fernando Martinez Sommer, Olivier Robert, Jos Verlooy, Michael Duffy, Emanuele Gaudiano, Julien Epaillard, Michael G Duffy and Laura Klaphake.

Monaco has been an established part of the LGCT calendar since 2006 and the magical back-drop of Port d’Hercule and the iconic Prince’s Palace in Monaco will once again provide a spectacular venue for the crucial point in the 2022 Longines Global Champions Tour season. The three-day feast of top-class show jumping alongside the world-famous harbour of Monte-Carlo will deliver fantastic entertainment from the 30 June – 2 July.

The best international riders and horses will descend on the Principality to face challenging technical courses in one of the most compact arenas on the Tour, where daring, scope and bravery are the key ingredients required for a successful charge.
