This year’s Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show promises a spectacular showcase of the elite, featuring the world’s best riders and their top horses. The competition will unfold in a stunning seaside arena with a challenging 1.8% slope, demanding the utmost precision and skill from all participants. This unique venue, with its breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, guarantees an exhilarating experience for both competitors and spectators alike.

The rider lineup for this year’s event is nothing short of stellar. Leading the pack is the current LGCT Championship leader, Eduardo Alvarez Aznar from Spain, who faces critical decisions to maintain his lead. Joining him, in second place at the moment is Max Kühner and LGCT Grand Prix of Madrid winner and third place in the Championship standings Christian Kukuk, is also set to compete, bringing his exceptional form to St Tropez with hopes of climbing the leaderboard.

Speed demon and last year’s LGCT Grand Prix of St Tropez, Ramatuelle winner Julien Epaillard will be aiming for back to back wins. Additionally, the equestrian world eagerly anticipates last year’s LGCT overall runner up, Maikel van der Vleuten who is poised to make a triumphant Championship race effort in St Tropez.
The lineup further includes equestrian luminaries such as previous LGCT Grand Prix of St Tropez, Ramatuelle winners Malin Baryard-Johnsson and Jessica Spingsteen, Mexico LGCT Grand Prix winner Nicola Philippaerts, British greats John Whitaker and Scott Brash will also compete, alongside other top talents like Laura Kraut, Christian Ahlmann, Niels Bruynseels and the likes of Pieter Devos.
