The Prague Lions powered by the Czech Equestrian Team are back, sharper, stronger, and hungrier than ever. After an exceptional 2024 season, which saw them storm to victory in GCL Mexico and finish fifth overall, the Lions are fired up for a massive 2025 campaign. With a fearsome lineup, this team is ready to set the circuit ablaze and chase ultimate glory in the GCL.

Only making one single change to their line-up from last year, Prague Lions trust in their combinations to take on 2025:

Niels Bruynseels – A GCL veteran since 2017, Niels has been a key figure for the Prague Lions since 2018, bringing exceptional precision, reliability, and tactical brilliance. His ability to stay calm under pressure makes him a cornerstone of the team’s success.

Pieter Devos – One of the most experienced GCL riders, Pieter is a master tactician with a passion for competition and a team-first mentality. His leadership and experience will be instrumental in steering the Lions to success in 2025.

Anna Kellnerová – A pillar of the Prague Lions, Anna brings passion, consistency, and a strong connection with her horses. Her steady performances and determination make her a crucial asset as the team eyes the top of the GCL leaderboard.

Fernando Martinez Sommer – Returning for his third season, Fernando played a key role in the team’s triumph in GCL Mexico City. With sharp competitive instincts and tactical insight, he is set to help push the Prague Lions to even greater heights.

Thibeau Spits [U25] – A rising star in GCL, Thibeau made an immediate impact in 2024, securing a win in GCL Mexico City and a podium finish in Miami Beach. With his youthful energy and raw talent, he is a rider to watch in 2025.

Kyle Timm – New to the Prague Lions in 2025, Kyle brings consistency and tactical expertise to the squad. After a mid-season transfer to the Rome Gladiators in 2024, he proved his reliability under pressure, making him a key addition to the team’s championship aspirations.
