LGCT Stockholm: The Countdown is ON!
Mdmar – Stockholm- LGCT
The countdown to the Longines Global Champions Tour of Stockholm is on. With just over a month to go until show jumping superstars return to Sweden from 18 – 20 June anticipation for the second LGCT Stockholm continues to build.
Alongside the main competitions of LGCT and GCL, Stockholm Horse Week will also run with a focus to inspire, broaden and create a celebration with the people around equestrian sport. A highlight of the event will be the Lövsta Future Challenge International U25 Jumping, where young talent will have the chance to shine on centre stage. The exciting partnership with Lövsta Future Challenge means the LFC Young Horses Final will also be held at LGCT Stockholm for the first time which will allow some of the best young 7-year-old Swedish horses to compete against International stars of the future.
It’s guaranteed to be three days of spectacular sport as elite horses and riders in show jumping will attend at the City’s historic Olympic Stadium. The arena has a strong heritage in equestrian sport dating back over 100 years, including the Olympic Games in 1912 and 1956 and the World Equestrian Games in the summer of 1990.
