Four week countdown to GC Prague Playoffs is On!

In just four weeks the GC Prague Playoffs kicks off with the world’s best riders and teams going into combat in the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix and the GCL Super Cup.
The countdown to the quest for glory is on from today with the release of the official poster of the spectacular event, where new heroes will be crowned during the four-day show jumping extravaganza at the O2 Arena in the capital of the Czech Republic.
Today a tantalising new video is also released capturing the intensity and thrills of the high pressure GCL Super Cup where highly-motivated teams will compete across Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and the Final. Speculation is running high about squad selections with team owners and managers facing tense tactical decisions about which rider and horse combinations to deploy at each stage to maximise their chances of progressing to the Final. The all or nothing knock out rounds of the GCL Super Cup will see teams win or lose based on these crucial strategic choices. While the rider line-up for the 2019 Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix is already cemented in stone, all eyes will be on horsepower and which equine athletes the contenders will bring to Prague. With the biggest names in the sport locking horns in the high stakes competition, fans are guaranteed an A-list line up of show jumping’s superstars. The event is the only indoor show on the LGCT and GCL circuit and with an electric atmosphere in the O2 Arena and enormous pressure to win, riders will need to field their top horses in the battle for supremacy.
As the Longines clock ticks down to the start of the GC Prague Playoffs on 21st November, visitors can still book tickets for a place at this unmissable event. Just a short distance from neighbouring Germany, Prague is ideally located in central Europe and is easily accessible from The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Switzerland, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom.
Last year the event was a sell-out spectacular, with families flocking to watch breathtaking performances of horsemanship, dance, thrilling light displays and entertainment.
