To ensure the safety of horses during endurance rides, the appropriate cooling water must be used to cool the horses’ bodies. Emirates International Endurance Village continues to strengthen its sustainability journey by launching and implementing specialized projects to recycle plastic water bottles generated during endurance rides, as part of its institutional commitment to supporting the United Arab Emirates’ direction toward a more sustainable future.

This initiative aligns with the UAE’s vision and its National Climate Neutrality Strategy 2050, reinforcing the country’s progress toward a low-emissions economy driven by innovation and sustainability across all sectors, including equestrian sports and endurance competitions.

EIEV has implemented an integrated system for collecting, sorting, processing, and recycling plastic water bottles during endurance rides, in cooperation with accredited recycling companies. This ensures sustainable waste management and transforms waste into eco-friendly products, helping to reduce the environmental footprint of these events.
