A spokesperson for Stal Tops, expressed their enthusiasm for this act of generosity, saying, “We are incredibly proud of Uno’s success at the auction, not only because of his exceptional pedigree and bright future in the sport but also because his sale will support two remarkable charities. Both De Stalvrienden and the ITOT Foundation are doing transformative work through equine therapy, and it’s an honor to contribute to their missions. This represents the true spirit of our equestrian community—coming together to create lasting, positive impact beyond the sport.”

A Foal of Exceptional Lineage

Uno’s sire, Emerald van’t Ruytershof, is an internationally acclaimed showjumper, and his dam, Danique, has earned a stellar reputation with victories in top competitions such as Leipzig and Valkenswaard, under the skilled hands of Alberto Zorzi. Danique is also a sister to three more international performers, including Andreas Brenner and Benjamin Wulschner’s 1.60m jumper Cashman. Another sister of Danique produced Giorgio Z, who now competes with Mel Thijssen. With such a prestigious pedigree, Uno is expected to make a significant mark in the equestrian world.
