Al Shaqab’s horses excel in Morocco International Horse Show

The Morocco International Purebred Arabian Horse Show kicked off on Wednesday, 17 October. The A Show is part of the Salon du Cheval d’ElJadida, which is being held under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco. Qatar is well represented in the Salon and the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) is the Platinum Sponsor of the 11th renewal of the annual Salon. Al Shaqab’s horses excelled on Day 1 of the Show and topped the competitions, which saw large-scale participations from Morocco, France, Germany and Spain. In fact, Al Shaqab topped all the class where they participated. GALLIBA AL SHAQAB started the winning streak by landing the first place of the Yearling Fillies Class. That was not all as she also earned the highest score on Day 1 of the Show by tallying 460 points.
The good results continued when ALSBA AL SHAQAB topped the Two-Year-Old Fillies Class while UM GARIBA AL SHAQAB won the Three-Year-Old Fillies Class.
Al Shaqab’s ladies went on to land a fourth victory, but it was in the Four-Six-Year-Old Fillies Class this time when AAIDA AL SHAQAB was the winner of this Class.
HAGRAS AL SHAQAB topped the Two-Year-Old Colts Class, which is part of the qualifiers for the finals, enhancing Al Shaqab’s chances for capturing more than one title at the final rounds of the Show to be held on Thursday, 18 October, when the champions of all classes will be declared
