Al Shaqab Unveils the Second Edition of the Al Shaqab International League

Qualifying for the FEI Group VII Final
Mdmar – Doha, Qatar – Al Shaqab, Qatar’s premier equestrian facility, is proud to announce the launch of the 2nd edition of Al Shaqab International League, a world-class showjumping series set to raise the bar for equestrian sport both locally and globally. Known for its excellence and innovation in sport, Al Shaqab once again reinforces its commitment to advancing Qatar’s sporting legacy and supporting the nation’s vision of becoming a global sports hub, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.

The league will be held at the renowned Longines Indoor Arena at Al Shaqab from April 24 to 26, 2025. Competitions will take place on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Friday from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

This 2nd edition of the international league serves as a high-quality platform for riders at all levels to compete, grow, and excel. By emphasizing core values such as confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship, the league aims to develop athletes capable of competing on the world stage.

Al Shaqab is proud to announce that the 2nd edition of Al Shaqab International League will host the qualifying tournament for the FEI Group VII Final, a prestigious equestrian event organized by Al Shaqab’s Equine Education Department under the supervision of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) for riders representing Group VII nations, which include countries from the Middle East and North Africa. It is also worth noting that Al Shaqab will host the Group VII Final at the end of November 2025.
