The Katara International Arabian Horse Festival 2025 opened in grand style, delivering an unforgettable first day of the Arabian Peninsula Horse Show at the Cultural Village Foundation – Katara.

With the world’s finest purebred Arabian horses gracing the arena, the competition was nothing short of breathtaking, showcasing the elegance, nobility, and unparalleled beauty of these legendary creatures.

Under the patronage of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the event brought together horse enthusiasts, breeders, and horse lovers from around the globe to witness the extraordinary spectacle.

The opening day featured fierce competition in the Yearling Fillies and Yearling Colts categories, where young stars of the Arabian horse world competed for top honors, displaying remarkable grace, movement, and conformation.

The first class of the day saw an intense battle among yearling fillies, where Qumriyah emerged victorious, claiming 1st place with an impressive 91.57 points. Her flawless movement, striking presence, and refined beauty captivated the judges, securing her a well-earned triumph.

Matching her score but settling for 2nd place, Hammama Al Salam also delivered an extraordinary performance, demonstrating incredible balance and charisma. Meanwhile, GJ Majestica secured 3rd place with 91.43 points, proving to be a strong contender among this elite group.

The excitement continued in Class 1B, where Anhajeeah Al Shaqab took 1st place with a stunning score of 91.43 points, impressing both judges and spectators with her exceptional elegance and powerful presence.

Challenging for the top spot, Mayyasa Al-Zain earned 2nd place with 91.29 points, displaying remarkable refinement and movement. Al Jowhara Abher rounded out the podium in 3rd place, securing 90.71 points and further emphasizing the depth of talent in this prestigious competition.

The colts entered the arena next, and the Yearling Colts Section (Class 4A) witnessed a thrilling contest, with Saif Al Wadi emerging as the champion, scoring 91.43 points. His impressive stature, fluid movement, and strong presence made him a standout performer.

Close behind, Ragheed Al Sraiya claimed 2nd place with 90.86 points, demonstrating grace and power in his performance. Lamah Ofuq (QA) secured 3rd place with 90.29 points, rounding off a highly competitive category.

The final class of the day saw a magnificent performance from D Sadn, who stunned the audience with a spectacular score of 92.57 points—the highest of the competition so far. His commanding presence and flawless conformation secured him a decisive 1st place finish.

Not far behind, Ibn Al Naif showcased exceptional quality, earning 2nd place with 90.93 points, while Al Rayyan Al Etaag impressed with 90.64 points, claiming 3rd place in what was an outstanding display of future champions.
