A New Partnership Between Old Doha Port and Al Shaqab in Support of the Al Shaqab League

  Old Doha Port and Al Shaqab, a leading equestrian center and member of Qatar Foundation, have announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement under which Old Doha Port becomes the official sponsor of the Al Shaqab League. This collaboration aims to strengthen cooperation between national institutions and support sports and cultural activities across the country.

The signing ceremony took place at Al Shaqab’s headquarters in the presence of senior representatives from both sides. Al Shaqab was represented by Mr. Khalid Sanad Al-Nuaimi, Event Director, while Mr. Mohamed Al Atwan, Chief Operations Officer, represented Old Doha Port.

This partnership reflects the commitment of both parties to supporting Qatari sports, particularly equestrianism, which is a deeply rooted part of Qatar’s heritage and culture. On this occasion, Mr. Khalid Sanad, Event Director, stated:

The “Mdmar” website which was Founded by Khaled Makhlouf in 2007 for horse and equestrian races is keen to cover and follow all competitions related to horses, from show jumping, Horseracing, speed and endurance races, and purebred Arabian horse beauty shows, which belong to the Arab Gulf countries at home and abroad in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
