Ludger Beerbaum and Mila will not compete in the €1.25 Million season climax the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix. After choosing to shift their focus towards Sunday’s GCL Super Cup Final instead, the Berlin Eagles have made a team decision to save their best three horses for the GCL team competition instead.
The German hero commented when asked why he made this choice: “Simply because I had to decide either the LGCT Super Grand Prix or to put the best possible team together for tomorrow’s GCL Super Cup Final.”

After the unfortunate news earlier in the week that Malin Baryard-Johnsson had to pull out of the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix due to a small wound on H&M Indiana’s leg from being turned out in the field.
Malin Baryard-Johnsson said: “Of course, I’m really, really sad. We have had a great year and I was really looking forward to do the Super Grand Prix in Prague. Hopefully we will be back again next year.”

Thirteen of the world’s top riders will go into battle for the ultimate individual showdown in show jumping at the fourth edition of the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix. The 13 challengers are winners of each LGCT Grand Prix during the 2022 season or runners up if the winner was already qualified for the GC Playoffs, and all will take centre stage in the ultimate showdown to contest for the prestigious LGCT Super Grand Prix win.

There is €1.25 million up for grabs in the LGCT Super Grand Prix where riders will be battling it out for individual glory adding their name to the history books. The 1.65m competition will kick off at 8:00pm (CET) in Prague’s O2 Arena, and will be held over two rounds with the below riders going head to head.
